DACONIL WEATHERSTIK FUNGICIDE For control of turf and ornamental diseases. For use to control diseases on turf on golf courses, lawns around commercial and industrial buildings, and professional
and collegiate athletic fields. DACONIL WEATHERSTIK is a protectant fungicide with multi-site activity that almost eliminates the chance of resistance. It is classed as a Phthalimide, which inhibits the synthesis of amino compounds and enzymes. DACONIL WEATHERSTIK is the ideal fungicide for turf managers' disease programs. DACONIL WEATHERSTIK is sprayed on the leaf of the plant and the chlorothalonil deposit is bound to the site by cuticular wax. Water from rainfall, irrigation or dew forms a film on the leaf and chlorothalonil is then released in to this water film and redistributed over the leaf. Germinating disease spores absorb chlorothalonil, making the spore unable to infect the leaf. For use to control diseases on ornamentals on golf courses and landscape areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields.
