Bed bugs not only inhabit your sleeping area they bite you and your furry friends and leave itchy mosquito-type spots on you which can be seen in the morning. This pest feed on human blood at night so they are out of sight when you wake up, except for the bite marks you see. These little pests live in your mattress, sofas, or really any kind of furniture. They even live in cracks of wood and cracks on the walls. An infestation of these little pests is really a big problem. Once you find and identify them don’t think your work is done. People think all they have to do is vacuum the bugs up and dispose of them. Sorry to say it isn’t that easy.

Clutter is a big problem for a lot of people. You must remove it because it will make it easier to detect hiding bed bugs. Another thing suggested is to take out your furniture drawers and carefully check them for bed bugs in the cracks and clean them thoroughly. Some people have even thrown their mattresses away, which I can’t say I blame them. It is not only mattresses you should inspect but even wooden bed frames are great hideouts for these bugs. There are many more places to check for bedbugs but they conceal themselves in other areas as they multiply very fast. It doesn’t take long for an infestation to occur, just the thought of one after reading this article should make your skin crawl.
