HARDBALL HERBICIDE 2.5 Gal. - up to 10+ Acre Coverage

Hardball herbicide formulation contains 19.6% of 2,4-D and is intended for selective control of emergent aquatic weeds along with many broadleaf weeds in forests, non-cropland, non-crop turf areas, and aquatic areas. Apply Hardball Herbicide as a water or oil-water spray during warm weather when target weeds or woody plants are actively growing. Hardball is a selective postemergence herbicide for the control of hard-to-kill annual broadleaved weeds in spring wheat (including durum). Hardball tank-mix is mixed with water and applied as a uniform broadcast spray. Hardball is non-corrosive, nonflammable, and nonvolatile. Hardball 2,4-D tank-mix must be applied to treatment areas early postemergence, to the main flush of actively growing broadleaved weeds with warm, moist growing conditions promote active weed growth and enhance the activity of Hardball 2,4-D tank-mix by allowing maximum foliar uptake and contact activity.

ACTION: Hardball inhibits the production of the ALS enzyme in plants. This enzyme is essential for the production of certain amino acids which are essential for plant growth. Hardball acts at multiple sites in the plant to disrupt hormone balance and protein synthesis and thereby cause a variety of plant growth abnormalities.
